Description

The BN324 Series is a versatile range of compact, stand-alone fibre interfaces designed for video OB applications up to 4K format. Supporting dual input to dual output conversion, the BN324 handles 12G-SDI, 6G-SDI, 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, SD-SDI, and ASI signals, accommodating data rates from 50 Mb/s to 12 Gb/s. Each unit features signal reclockers to ensure the highest signal integrity and includes a robust 4-pin XLR power connection for reliable operation in demanding environments.

The series is available in CWDM variants, offering compatibility with wavelength-division multiplexing for efficient fibre utilisation. Built with a compact and rugged enclosure, the BN324 is ideal for professional workflows in Outside Broadcast and studio environments.

The range includes four configurations to suit varied applications:

• BN324T Transmitter: Dual independent channels with electrical SDI inputs converted to fibre outputs.
• BN324R Receiver: Dual independent channels with fibre inputs converted to electrical SDI outputs.
• BN324TR Transceiver: Two channels, with Channel A configured as a transmitter and Channel B as a receiver.
• BN324A Adaptive: Features an empty SFP cage or a user-specified SFP module, offering flexibility to configure as a dual transmitter, dual receiver, or transceiver, depending on the module fitted.
