BB450T-IP Broadcast Video & Multichannel Audio Encapsulator BB450R-IP Broadcast Video & Multichannel Audio Decapsulator The BB450T-IP is a professional Broadcast Network Edge Encapsulator that wraps 3G-SDI and eight channels of Differential Line Level Audio in an IP Stream for both SMPTE 2022-6/7 and SMPTE 2110. The BB450R-IP is a professional Broadcast Network Edge Decapsulator that extracts 3G-SDI and eight channels of Differential Line Level Audio from both SMPTE 2022-6/7 and SMPTE 2110 IP Networks. They are part of our Edgware range that has been designed to convert conventional Broadcast workflow to IP based systems. Broadcast systems can be extended over 10G networks. With Unicast or Multicast functionality and Singlemode fibre operation, the BB450T-IP can be sited close to the action and far away from the IP network Point of Presence. An “In Band” GUI is used to control and configure the ingest and output destination devices and switch between SMPTE 2022 and SMPTE 2110. The front panel display shows the Host MAC and IP address and the Destination Address. The BB450T-IP can be used as a network edge device for AES67, AVB and Dante when used in SMPTE2110 mode. Once the Video and Audio are in the IP world, Broadcast IP tools can be used to create, edit and produce content.
