BC313R
Compact optical-to-electrical converter for professional SDI and ASI signals.
Description
The BC313R is a compact optical to electrical receiver designed to convert optical signals into 3G SDI, HD SDI, SD SDI and ASI. The incoming optical signal is processed through a trans impedance and limiting amplifier before being electrically reclocked at the output, ensuring stable and accurate signal recovery.
Housed in a compact enclosure, the BC313R is well suited to outside broadcast, live events and studio environments. Power is provided via a four pin XLR connector, allowing operation from a wide range of external DC sources between 4.5 and 17 volts.
The BC313R is a single channel fibre optic converter designed to extend the reach of electrical signals up to 3G SDI while maintaining interference free transmission. Each channel supports data rates from 50 Mb per second up to 3 Gb per second and can also operate in non reclocking mode when required.
The unit is available in singlemode, WDM and CWDM variants to suit a wide range of fibre infrastructures. It can also interface directly with standard Bluebell cards and enclosures for rack based or system deployments.
