Description
The BC323TR is a versatile transceiver module designed to convert one 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, SD-SDI, or ASI signal from electrical to optical format, while simultaneously converting a separate optical signal to electrical format. Each input signal is auto-sensed, equalised, and reclocked before being transmitted over either a single optical fibre or a BNC connection, ensuring reliable signal transport and exceptional performance.
Housed in a compact and robust enclosure, the BC323TR is ideal for Outside Broadcast, live events, and studio applications. Power is provided via the separately supplied PS12 unit, featuring an IEC mains inlet for easy integration into standard equipment racks. The BC323TR also supports a 4-pin XLR connector, enabling power from external DC sources within the range of 4.5 to 17 V.
Capable of handling data rates from 50 Mb/s to 3 Gb/s, the BC323TR can operate in non-reclocking mode when non-standard signals are presented. Its dual-channel capability and compatibility with singlemode, WDM, and CWDM variants make it suitable for a wide range of fibre optic applications.
The BC323TR integrates seamlessly with other Bluebell cards and enclosures, making it an excellent choice for expanding or upgrading broadcast systems.
