Description
The BC364 is a compact, rack-based multi-format fibre interface designed as a highly flexible toolkit for broadcast and AV systems. Featuring input and output SFP cages, its functionality is defined by the selected SFP modules, enabling optical and electrical format conversion across signals including composite, DVI, HD-DVI, 3G-SDI and more. The card supports distribution, format conversion, monitoring and CWDM wavelength management, allowing multiple cameras and signals to be transported over a single fibre, re-mapped across wavelengths, or regenerated between multimode and singlemode systems. Housed in BC100 (3RU) or BC160 (1RU) frames — or available in standalone enclosures — the BC364 supports fibre ring creation, local signal drop, optical switching, redundancy changeover and remote monitoring via the BM102i network card using web interface or SNMP. Its modular design makes it scalable, expandable and ideal for fixed installations, flyaway systems, and complex live production environments where fibre count, flexibility and system resilience are critical.
