Description
The BC370T is a high-performance transmitter card designed to convert four independent electrical signals, 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, SD-SDI, and ASI, into optical format for fibre optic transmission. Each incoming signal is auto-sensed and equalised before being transmitted over a separate optical fibre, ensuring exceptional signal integrity and jitter-free transport.
When a non-standard SDI signal is detected, each channel automatically switches to a non-reclocking bypass mode, supporting data rates up to 3 Gb/s. The BC370T is available in multimode, singlemode, WDM, and CWDM variants, making it suitable for a wide range of fibre optic applications.
Paired with the BC370R, which performs reverse conversions of optical signals back to electrical format. Together, these units provide a versatile and reliable solution for bi-directional SDI signal transport.
The BC370T occupies a single slot in the BC100/BC100i (3RU) 19″ rack-mounting frame which can hold up to 15 single-slot cards, allowing up to 60 channels of video to be transmitted or received from a single 3RU frame. For smaller deployments, the BC160/BC160i (1RU) 19” frame can six single-slot cards, supporting the transmit/receive up to 24 SDI channels.
Signal and card status monitoring is available through the BM102/BM102i internal webpage or via SNMP for comprehensive network management.
For stand alone applications, the BC370R can be housed in an individual rugged enclosure, such as BC101 (1-slot), BC102 (2-slot) or BC120 (3-slot), offering flexibility and durability for various operational needs.
