8 Channel Balanced Analogue Audio De/Multiplexer
Description
The BC620 Series provides a high-quality solution for transporting up to eight channels of balanced analogue line-level audio over a single optical fibre, supporting both transmission and reception for multichannel audio applications. The BC620T transmitter buffers analogue audio inputs before converting them using full 24-bit A/D conversion and multiplexing the signals onto a single optical data stream for fibre transport, while the BC620R receiver demultiplexes the incoming optical signal and converts it back to analogue audio outputs, maintaining independent audio transport separate from video or embedded audio paths. Designed to preserve maximum signal integrity, the BC620 Series delivers stable, jitter-free optical performance and is available in multimode, singlemode, WDM and CWDM variants to suit a wide range of fibre infrastructures. The BC620R can operate alongside a BC630T to allow AES inputs to feed analogue outputs, while the BC620T can be paired with a BC630R to convert analogue inputs to AES outputs. Each card occupies a single slot within the BC100 3RU 19″ rack frame, supporting up to 15 cards, with some BC Series configurations enabling up to 30 channels within a single frame. Signal and card monitoring is available via SNMP using the BM101 network card, with optional GP-Output alarms provided through BM100/BM102 modules, and standalone rugged enclosures are available for field deployment.
