Description
The BN352 is a rugged and versatile 12G-SDI distribution amplifier designed to meet the demands of today’s broadcast and professional video production environments. With a 1:4 architecture, it effectively distributes a single SDI input to four identical, fully reclocked outputs, ensuring consistent signal quality and integrity across all connected devices.
Supporting a wide range of SDI standards, including 12G-SDI, 6G-SDI, 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, SD-SDI, MADI, and DVB-ASI, the BN352 automatically adjusts to the input signal’s data rate. Its integrated equalization and reclocking capabilities extend signal reach and maintain excellent quality over longer cable runs, making it ideal for high-resolution workflows up to 4K@60Hz.
The BN352 complies with SMPTE standards such as ST-2082, ST-2081, ST-424, ST-292, and ST-259, allowing it to integrate efficiently into existing setups. Its compact and rugged aluminium enclosure is built for demanding applications like Outside Broadcast (OB), while lockable BNC connectors provide secure connections to prevent accidental disconnections in high-pressure environments.
The BN352-DUAL variant offers 2x 1:4 reclocked distribution, equalisation, and SMPTE-compliant performance making it especially suited for OB trucks and tight-space installations. With lockable BNC connectors and LED indicators for quick signal status checks, it provides the same rugged reliability as the BN352 in a more space-efficient format.
Additional features include a 12V DC input with a 4-pin XLR connector for reliable power delivery and an LED indicator for quick identification of input signal loss. These features make the BN352 a dependable choice for professional studios, live events, and any setup requiring high-performance SDI signal distribution.
