Description

Synchronising different video sources, such as cameras or graphics generators, is crucial in live production workflows. Distributing genlock signals throughout your production chain is essential for achieving this synchronisation. However, using copper cable infrastructure for transporting genlock signals over long distances can result in signal degradation and asynchronous video sources. The BN500T and BN500R offer the ideal solution for transporting analog video/genlock signals over long distances using fiber optic cables. These rugged units, housed in 3mm aluminum enclosures, are perfect for field use. Additionally, they feature industry-standard XLR-4 lock-in power connectors, ensuring a reliable power connection that cannot be accidentally removed.
