Description
The Bluebell 2U Flightcase is a rugged portable fibre optic system specifically designed for OB, ENG and SNG applications. A standard BC160 frame is fitted to which a range of modular cards are fitted to achieve the signal flow required. A passive BC160P frame can also be added to provide cost effective and compact optical multiplexing. It has been designed to be used as a “throw-down” box and act as a fibre hub when connected to a truck via a Military Tactical Fibre Optic Cable. Suitable for use in news, sport and concerts in any outside broadcast environment. The unit can be configured for almost any combination of Video, Audio and Data cards. The top slot is fitted with a vented panel. A BC160P can also be fitted to provide additional optical multiplexing. The unit can be supplied with any type of fibre optic connector to suit the application including SMPTE 311 Hybrid Cables, Neutrik OpticalCON, Hermaphroditic or standard SC, FC connectors. Applications have been found with many Outside Broadcast vehicles, special event companies and in pre-fibred venues. Bluebell offers a flexible fibre optic transport solution for field operation.
