Description

The BN812 is a multi-rate Ethernet to fibre converter equipped with PoE+ functionality that can deliver up to 30W of power over twister pair.

Ideal for use with PTZ cameras with NDI output, offering a single-cable soiution that simplifes installation and maintenance.  The BN812 can convert copper twister pair data speeds of 10/100/1000Base-T to fibre optic 100Base-FX or 1000Base-X formats. Providing a reliable and high-perfomance link. The converter can be powered by a standard 12V power source, and it’s LED indicators provade a clear indication of power, network and opitcal activity.

With various SFP options available, including Multimode, Single Mode, signal or dual fibre, CWDM, and long-reach up to 120km, the BN812 can be customised to meed specific requirement, providing flexibility and versatility.

BN812 can be used as a remote Ethernet conversion device which can be paired with another BN810/BN812 or the rack-based BC860 or BC862 Ethernet conversion cards.
