Description

Electrical to Optical Transceiver for Control

The BC723 is a compact stand-alone multi-format converter for control signals. Control data and GPI signals are transmitted over a pair of fibres.The BC723 can be supplied in multimode, singlemode and CWDM variations to suit all applications and is a perfect complement to video converter cards. Power is provided by a DC source of 4.5 to 17V via a 4 pin XLR or the Bluebell PS12 in-line power adapter.

The BC723 version fits in Bluebell 19” rack frames. Please contact the Sales Office for more information.

For applications requiring analogue audio in addition to serial control data, the BC623 is available.
