The Bluebell BC100i and BC160i frames are trusted and reliable platforms for optical signal conversion. The BC100i has 15 card slots, while the BC160i offers 6 slots. They feature dual redundant power supplies, network monitoring, and a touchscreen display, making them ideal for Outside Broadcast trucks, fixed installations, and fly-away systems.

Combining the BC100i with the BC370T Quad Electrical to Optical Transmitter card for 3G-SDI gives 60 channels of conversion in 3RU, and 24 channels of conversion using a BC160i. or if you need to convert 12G-SDI to optical, the BC365T will give you 30 optical conversions in the BC100i, and 12 conversion in a BC160i.

BC Series cards are plugged into the rear of the frame, keeping all cabling within the rack enclosure, while system monitoring is shown on the front panel. External monitoring via an IP network is possible with the optional BM102i network card, compatible with SNMP protocol v2.1. The frames internal motherboard has a microcontroller and memory for managing card status data. The colour touchscreen on the front panel displays signal status including card type, PSU status, voltages, and internal temperature. Firmware updates can be easily installed via the front panel USB port.
